How the Program Works
Initial Pre-Assessment:
Section 1: Assesses academic knowledge.
Section 2: Evaluates teaching methods and classroom management.
Scoring:
80% or Above: Indicates proficiency.
40-79%: Shows areas for improvement.
Below 40%: May require extra support before starting the program.
Two Curriculum Tracks:
Pedagogy Track: Focuses on advancing teaching skills to move teachers from “developing” to “highly effective” ratings.
Academic Track: Strengthens knowledge in English Language Arts, Reading, Grammar, Science, Social Studies, and Math.
Weekly Classes:
Time Commitment
Program Duration: Three weeks per month from August to May
Time Commitment details:
One track: 2 hours per week (1 hour in-person and 1 hour online).
Both tracks: 4 hours per week (2 hours in-person and 2 hours online).
